Hamac Nappy - Lumi

USE

 

Note: As for all our prints, the pattern does not perfectly line up with the nappy, there is always a little shift. This is more visible on this "frieze" pattern that was dear to our heart (we did want our winter nappy!).
This causes an optical illusion that may let you think that the velcro is not straight, but it is ;)

We would like to draw your attention on the fact that no exchange for another Lumi nappy will be possible, as this point concerns all the Lumi nappies. Though, if the nappy does not please you, you can obviously send it back to us before washing it, so that we can exchange it or give you a refund.

 

USE

The Hamac hybrid nappy is more convenient than a cloth nappy, and more eco-friendly and cost-effective than a disposable nappy. 

It is patented leakproof and easy to use: just insert a reusable pad (made from microfibre or organic cotton and hemp) into the Hamac pouch, then place a flushable liner on top. Alternatively, you can simply choose to use a disposable pad.

Size Guide

Here is a size graph that will allow you to choose the most suitable size for your child.

If you hesitate between two sizes, take the bigger one so that your child can wear it longer. Furthermore, upon receipt of your products, think about trying the nappies on your child before washing them so that you can return to us the nappy for an exchange. If the nappies were washed, we won’t be able to exchange them.

 

If your child’s weight approaches the next size, we suggest that you take the bigger size. For instance : your baby weights 8kg, you can take the size L (9-17kg) to optimizes the time of use.

Careful, the XS size is only suggested for prematured and very small babies. It will soon be too small for 3 kg babies at birth.

Composition

- The cloth nappy is made out of Meryl® microfibre. It helps keep moisture away from baby, speeds up the drying process and helps keep baby's skin warm.

- The Hamac® pouch is made out of breathable and waterproof polyurethane.

- Microfiber Absorbent Pad: 100% microfiber + plyamide upper side.

The microfiber washable absorbent pad has to be folded in 3 in order to be put in the Hamac pouch.

- Organic Cotton and Hemp Absorbent pad : 45% Organic Cotton, 55% Hemp, + micro-fleece upper side.

The organic cotton washable absorbent pad has to be folded in 2 in order to be put in the Hamac pouch.

- Liner: Cellulose fibers that are 100% biodegradable. Chlorine and scent-free.

Cleaning instructions 

Nappy

Machine washable at 40°C/100°F. The tumble dryer should not be used because it wears out the fabrics faster. 

It is important to fold the tabs back before washing so that they does not damage the rest of the linen. Nappy should not be ironed.

To prevent leaking and other damage to the Hamac pouch, refrain from using washing products containing alcohol, solvents, whiteners or abrasives.

Absorbent pad

Machine washable at 60°C/140°F. Absorbent pad should be tumble-dried.
